About Us
The IDA Rhode Island is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to dyslexia and related language-based issues. In addition to dyslexia, IDA Rhode Island supports and encourages the scientific study of all aspects of language acquisition, including, but not limited to speaking, listening, reading, written expression and spelling.
IDA Rhode Island promotes the understanding of dyslexia and evidenced-based literacy instruction for all learners through teacher preparation and the continued education of professionals and families. IDA Rhode Island also promotes public awareness of dyslexia and literacy through responsible dissemination of research-based knowledge.
